Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?

 

Yes. Tours have a limited capacity and often sell out. If you are planning to make reservations for several people, it’s a good idea to purchase tickets well in advance before spots fill up. Tickets may be purchased with a Visa, Mastercard or American Express.

 

Am I required to purchase a ticket for my child?

 

Children under the age of 4 are invited to join us free of charge, but must share food and seats with their guardian. There is a limit of one non-paying child per adult. All others must purchase a general ticket.  PLEASE REMEMBER this is a tour geared for adults, meaning the tour guides may use language usually reserved for a movie with a PG-13 rating.

How far do we walk on the walking tours?

Our Village tour will cover approximately 1 mile of walking. Please remember to wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately.  While we will be inside restaurants and shops at points, we will be outside for most of the tour.

Does weather affect the tour?

 

Tours run rain or shine. Tour itineraries may change if weather becomes a problem but we will always run complete tours. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

Where do the tours start?

Tours start just inside of Father Demo Square at the corner of Bleecker Street and 6th Avenue in New York Cities Greenwich Village.  The address is 220 Bleecker St, New York, NY 10014.

Where do the tours end?

 

Tours typically end near Lafayette Street and Houston Street.

Where will we go on this tour?

 

Each trip is unique as the guides have the ability to change direction based on the vibe of each group, making each tour a unique experience!  Every tour will stop at 5-6 places to eat with a substantial sample and sometimes full meal size portions.

How much time do we spend at each pizzeria?

 

Stops can last as long as 25 minutes and as little as 5

Who will be my tour guide?

 

Our tour guides are highly trained food tour guides who fall under Fatventures 2 main guidelines...Huge lovers of food and professional stand up comedians.  All are licensed by the city as tour guides.

Are the tours wheelchair accessible?

 

Most of the walking tours are wheelchair accessible. However some of the stops may include occasional steps up and down getting into and out of certain restaurants.

Is this tour appropriate for tourists?

 

100% Your guide is licensed by the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs to take you on a unique NYC tour by way of its food.

How much will I eat?

 

A LOT! It is called Fatventure for a reason.  Some stops hve sample portions and others have near full meal size portions.   Come hungry.

Are restrooms available during the tour?

 

Yes. Most of our stops offer the use of restrooms to customers.

How large will the group be?

Tours have a maximum number of 12 people.  Some tours are smaller but 12 is the most we allow at this time for public tours.  Private tours can be as many people as needed!

Am I allowed to take pictures or video on the tour?
